Five essential tools.
One desktop suite.
NEXUS bundles a service manager, clipboard history, media converter, cheat manager and encrypted password vault into a single fast app — running entirely on your PC.
Everything you need, nothing you don't
Each tool is built for speed and designed to look like it belongs in the same app — because it does.
Service Manager
See every Windows service at a glance, then start, stop, restart or change its startup type. Protected services trigger a proper UAC prompt instead of a dead end.
- Live status & startup type filtering
- Per-service detail view with command line
- Elevation handled with a single confirmation
Clipboard History
Text and images are captured as you copy, with pinning, full-text search and one-click re-copy.
Media Converter
Convert virtually any video, audio or image into any other format with queue-based batch jobs.
- MP4, MKV, WebM, MOV, AVI, GIF and more
- MP3, WAV, FLAC, Opus, OGG, AAC…
- Quality presets and a fast remux mode
Cheat Manager
Store scripts with a title, game, tags and notes — then search and copy them back instantly.
Password Vault
AES-256-GCM encrypted logins, scrypt key derivation, a strong password generator, auto-lock and a quick security audit.
Your data never leaves your PC
NEXUS has no backend, no telemetry and no sign-up. Clipboard history, your script library and your encrypted vault all live in a folder on your disk that only you control.
- ✓ Passwords encrypted with AES-256-GCM and scrypt key derivation
- ✓ Clipboard history stored locally, with regex rules to skip secrets
- ✓ Media conversion happens with a local FFmpeg build
- ✓ One-click export to back everything up yourself
Update once, everywhere
NEXUS checks the update server the moment it launches. Publish a new build, and every installed copy picks it up and restarts into the new version — no manual reinstalling.
# build and publish a new version $ npm run dist $ npm run publish:release Published NexusSuite-1.2.0-Setup.exe Published latest.yml
Good questions
Does anything get sent to the internet?
No. Every tool runs on your machine. The only network traffic NEXUS generates is the update check against the server URL you configure in Settings → Updates.
What happens if I forget my master password?
Nothing can recover it — that is the point of real encryption. Choose something long, store the hint carefully, and export a backup of your vault now and then.
Do I need to install FFmpeg myself?
No. NEXUS ships with a bundled build. If you'd rather use your own, point Settings → Converter → FFmpeg path at it.
Where is my data stored?
In your app data folder (%APPDATA%\nexus-suite\NexusSuite). Use Settings → Data → Open folder to jump straight there, or Export to back it all up.
